The UKASL asbestos management training courses are an established alternative formal method of proving competence in management of asbestos and undertaking asbestos surveys.
Each UKASL asbestos management proficiency module is set as a stand-alone modular-based training course programme with a typical duration of 2-4 days. The course duration may vary dependent upon evidence shown by the client that delegates existing knowledge or qualifications of the subject (or parts thereof) can be proven, evidence of which would be requested by UKASL at the time of booking the course.
Each module is in a specific and individual area of work and expertise and covers both theory and practical training in the subject area.
Each training course can be used to enable delegates to comply with the term ‘competent’ or use as support to prove competence as described within current HSE Regulations and ACOP’s to comply with the safe management and surveying of asbestos.
