HSE ACOP L143 and Chapter 4 of HSG247 Asbestos: The licensed contractors' guide sets out the detailed content of the asbestos training modules for operatives, supervisors, managers, directors, supervisory licence holders and licensed scaffolders that are involved in licensable work. All information, instruction and training given should include an appropriate level of detail, suitable to the job, and should use written materials, oral presentation and demonstration as necessary. This course provides operatives with knowledge and understanding of asbestos removal procedures. Course content is delivered via theory and practical training methods.

All of the UKasl New Operative and New Supervisor training courses are only offered as in-house courses. Please call us for a quotation to carry out this training course, all practical facilities and equipment required to carry out this training will be required to be provided by the client. By arranging an in-house training course we come to you, by utilising in-house training it becomes considerably more cost effective, a ‘one off’ fixed price covers up to the maximum number of delegates allowed on the course, this significantly reduces individual costs per delegate.

 

The HSE recognised New Operative and New Supervisor training courses should be delivered to Asbestos Removal Contractors who hold a full Licence for the removal of asbestos containing materials from buildings. Any training provider delivering such training must comply with the UKATA Code of Conduct. Duration must be a minimum of 18 hours training. This can be covered in two days if 9 hours study and practical training is allocated per day, or 6 hours per day not including breaks over 3 days.
