The Work at Height Regulations 2005

In 2004/2005 53 people died and nearly 3800 suffered a serious injury as a result of a fall from height in the workplace. Falls from height are the most common cause of fatal injury and the second most common cause of major injury to employees, As a result, Falls from Height are a key priority in the HSE enforcement programme. This training course is intended for employers, employees and the self-employed or anyone who works at height. The training will be carried out in accordance with the Working at Height at Regulations 2005, current HSE guidelines on erection of mobile towers and BS 1139.

This training course is intended to help employers, employees and the self employed to:

understand current legal duties when carrying out work at height

understand basic principals of accident prevention when using mobile towers

identify mobile tower components used for safe working

understand erection and dismantling procedures and inspections

identifying cleaning regime when used in asbestos enclosures

identify the hazards of working from mobile towers near ACM’s;

This course is only offered as an in-house option, by arranging an in-house training course we come to you, by utilising in-house training it becomes considerably more cost effective, a ‘one off’ fixed price covers up to the maximum number of delegates allowed on the course, this significantly reduces individual costs per delegate.
