Confined Space Awareness
(duration ½ day) Max 15 per session
The Confined Space Regulations 1997
Within the Regulations a confined space is defined as:
‘...any place including any chamber, tank, vat, silo, pit, trench, pipe, sewer, flew, well or other similar space which by virtue of its enclosed nature, there arises a reasonably foreseeable specified risk...’
Of course if a particular type of space that you may work in is not mentioned above, it doesnt mean it is not a confined space. Therefore if your employees are working in spaces which fall under the definition or interpretation, then you are responsible to ensure that they are aware and trained to a satisfactory level. An ideal course intended for asbestos removal contractors, supervisors and operatives and general maintenance trades who require a basic level of understanding of the hazards of confined spaces, it is also suitable for those employees who may require refresher training.
Topics covered include:

This course is only offered as an in-house option, by arranging an in-house training course we come to you, by utilising in-house training it becomes considerably more cost effective, a ‘one off’ fixed price covers up to the maximum number of delegates allowed on the course, this significantly reduces individual costs per delegate.
