Our training consultants respond promptly to customer enquiries always advising them on the best course of action to meet their needs. UK Asbestos Specialists Ltd were formed in 2001 by Les Cooper and Graham O’Mahony, two of the UK’s leading trainers and consultants in all asbestos issues. Many of you will already know, or have been trained and advised by Les and Graham; however we thought we would like to take this opportunity to introduce both Directors of UK Asbestos Specialists Ltd our newer clients. Graham O’Mahony Graham heads our southern office based in Cambridgeshire, covering South East England, East Anglia, West and Central southern areas of the UK. With 17 years in the construction industry and over 9 years experience dealing with all aspects of asbestos consultancy and training, Graham’s knowledge of materials in buildings has now led to him becoming a leading authority on the problems of management of and removal of ACM’s in buildings.
Les Cooper Les heads our Northern Office based in Tyne & Wear, covering North East England, Scotland, North West England, and Central Northern areas of the UK. With 20 years experience in engineering, building refurbishment and construction and over 10 years working in all aspects of asbestos management and removal training as well as health and safety consultancy. Les’s training background and extensive knowledge of asbestos removal gained from working with many leading training providers is recognised as unsurpassed in the industry.

Due to the large growth UKASL has experienced over the last two years, we are now needing to expand our team of highly skilled and professional consultants.
The right person will be comfortable training staff at all levels and able to undertake practical and theory based courses. Some training will be given and unlike other training providers we will provide all the necessary training materials, laptop, projector etc.
