- Levels of presumption used by the surveyor.
- Tools and equipment for sampling ACM’s.
- Sampling strategies.
- Sampling techniques.
- Contents of the survey report.
- Risk assessment algorithm
The aim of this course is to provide a comprehensive background of theoretical and practical knowledge in the surveying of buildings for asbestos. To provide the delegates with extensive information using current HSE Regulations, ACOP’s and guidance (HSG 264) on surveying procedures, sampling procedures and protocols to assist building owners in the management procedures necessary to minimise exposure and protect building occupants and employees to any identified asbestos containing materials. Each delegate will be assessed by the use of practical assessments and multi choice examination at the end of the course.
Course Duration
It is envisaged this course would be run over 3 days with 2 days for the theory elements of the course and a further 1 day for the assessments and examination.
Cost Effective
The UKASL P402 surveying and sampling training course can accommodate up to 15 delegates held in-house. Unlike other proficiency courses there are NO ADDITIONAL EXAMINATION FEES there is no pre-qualification to undertake this course.
